How to read the map
Slashes identify Open Data, mixed-source estimates, or unverified CSV field/overlap matches. Plain clocks use shared Parks CSVs for the field and its overlapping spaces. Colors become lighter as the oldest CSV ages: today–2 days, 3–7 days, then 8+ days. Open a clock to see its download age. Download dates are not Parks update timestamps. Clock faces use normal clock positions. Search up to 11 hours; the gray break separates the start and end. Green means your full requested duration fits on that field and all mapped overlapping fields at the same time. Red means booked or too short; yellow means unverified. Zoom in to separate nearby fields. Adjacent fields count as overlapping if 5% or more of the smaller field's footprint is overlapped.
About field outlines
Color applies to the selected field and your requested duration. Gray/slashes show overlapping space. Field labels use the calendar names. Outlines are approximate.

No listed permit does not guarantee availability. Other users, closures, park hours, and unlisted bookings may apply. Gaps are shown from 6 am–9 pm for planning, not as official opening hours. Source: NYC Open Data / CECM.
Check for updates checks the latest published schedule. NYC source updates happen separately, usually daily. Imported calendars update when you import a newer CSV.
